Actually, a vast improvement.........

Since they still aren't very useful for drinks, small items that may be held in them, say a set of keys (I have a seperate ring for house keys), won't wind up under the seat!!

for the question about the usb port. Someone on here posted pics of the 09 brochure and it was hard to read but i could make out the part on the radio a bit. you can plug an ipod directly into the usb port and it can then display songs and all that from it and you can use your steering wheel controls. So it replaces the pal, and probably works a million times better.

I'm wondering if it will plug and play with an 09 and how much the dealer would ream me for the radio and if it would be worth it. Or i could wait to find an 09 as a junker somewhere and pull it.

I noticed this one has a bigger cubby hole in front of the shifter. Is this a standard now, or how do you get this? I thought i remembered test driving one with it and i thought it was the smokers package. Anyone to make the standard little cubby hole in to that one, i would kill for it, perfect size for an ipod and some change instead of the shallow little thing i have.

The smoker's package is a $3 ashtray, that goes in one of the cup holders, and a cigarette lighter. All for the low,low price of $46. I sat in an '08 that had that option.

The new bigger cubby hole is the result of moving the window switches to the doors.

i have the '09 catalog and there is no yellow color offered. they also dropped the burnt orange color, but added a new gold mist, silver ice, and aqua blue.

I like the tray beside shifter

Perfect place for my XM remote. Like the larger tray in front of shifter boot and window controls on door better to. Overall not much different than my 08 and certainly not worth upgrading for me.
