CH...I'd bet the Reconfigurable Performance Display will allow you to time 0-60 and maybe 1/4 mile. Maybe also give you "g" forces.....especially since it's on the SS ONLY.
My wife thinks this may have something to do with an internal GM survey of what employees thought would be good features on vehicles. One of her suggestions was a modular dash which could be configured to whatever layout you wanted (i.e. on the HHR make the tach bigger than the speedo, add an oil temp gauge or a stoichiometer, etc.).

Stoichiometer??? May I ask what a stoichiometer measures? I remember doing lots of stoichiometry in university chemistry and geochemistry classes but it was all about figuring out and balancing chemical equations. So, I'm curious as to what a stoichiometer measures? Air/fuel ratio or something??

Bingo. It's used by drag racers (and others) if they have adjustable fuel mixtures. Usually hooks up to an oxygen sensor (probably upstream). I used to sell aftermarket ones for hot rodders that were digital.
