2009 hhr rs?
Hello all,
I'm looking at buying a 2009 HHR for my girlfriend. She loves that it drives like a car with a bunch of storage room. The only question I have, is it has RS emblems on it. I can't find any information saying a RS model was ever made. It makes me think someone just put the emblems on it but it looks pretty legit. Can anyone confirm if they ever made an RS? I'm assuming when we run the carfax, if the RS doesn't exist, it will probably tell us if it is a LS or LT but is there any other good way to tell just by looking at it (i.e. if one only has a manual transmission or a specific type of engine). Thanks for the help, I appreciate it.

to the forum!
The HHR was only offered in LS, LT, and SS models/trim levels. Either the former owner or the original dealer applied the RS lettering.
If it checks out mechanically, and you like it, the lettering can be removed without too much fuss.
