2009 SS Panel Van (almost)

I was so happy to find one online and then I started to see things that didn't look correct. I didn't see the back door release buttons on the dash. I check into the VIN and it had 63 in it and not 75. I was so bummed out.

I do see a real one, but they're asking over 20K.

Bummer, the search continues. They are getting pricey for very good ones.

My 2LT Panel only has 35K on the clock. I've pampered it since 2009.

It looks like they did a mod and replaced the back doors. Not sure about the far back windows. I thought some didn't have any.

The 2009 panel SS is a rare beast, only 216 were built

The even rarer 1/2 panel , AA5 was only 199 built! As for colours, no HHR SS was ever painted white from the factory!

Note the black in the door jambs and on the inner door frame, this might be a real SS , but somebody painted it white!
Imperial Blue metallic was the rarest colour, only 4 full panels were built

Yeah, that looks like it was black. If it was a genuine AA5 SS that’s a plus but a rare car corrupted with a paint change and the door mods is a detriment.

I always thought the SS shoulda been offered in white, tho.

I have a black SS that could benefit from paint. If it wasn’t a somewhat desirable 2010 5-sp performance package, bone stock, I wouldn’t hesitate to paint it white. Still considering it tho.

Some clones are very easy to spot! This has the wrong rims, grille, mirror caps, running boards for handles and bumpers

I know! There there, John, if it’s not a sale situation it’s something else to separate you from your car.
wild fires, flooding, hail, theft, or the worst of divorce! I still miss my 1984 Firebird! She took it to spite me and sold it ! Would not let me keep it!
Im still missing Oldblue!

This was a sad day! But it went to a good home!
