Question 2010 1/2 hhr?

I read somewhere that the GM badges on the front door of the HHR were removed in the "2010 1/2" model year. Was there actually a 2010 1/2 model year or were the badges simply removed sometime during the 2010 model year? My 2010 lacks the GM badges.

GM just elected to remove the "Badge of Excellence". Many just removed them anyway. Personally, I left mine on.

The "Mark of Excellence" badges were removed during the production run of the 2009 model year HHR's and all other GM vehicles when the bankruptcy proceedings began.

As solman mentioned, some Members here removed theirs just to go with the de-badging trend.

I did the opposite, my 2011 2LT has a set of "Chicklets", because I like them.
