2010 hhr

Im looking at a 2010 HHR with 169k miles. Ive never owned one. Asking price is 3000. What should I look for and should I be leery of the miles? Thanks in advance.

Same as any high mileage used car. Front suspension being the most likely failure point (Lower control arm bushings and ball joints)

Lots of things to look for, clunky front Suspension is normal, a shake during braking is normal, look under the hood and ensure the parts are all clean and present and accounted for, or are there aftermarket goodies installed
Listen for ticking when you start it up, at that mileage, not many worries, ask has the timing chain or water pump been changed?
Now use all the no answers to knock , $500.00 to $800.00 off !
If you’re handy these little trucklets are easy to work on, not that expensive for parts either.
After you buy the HHR, remember RockAuto has a discount code for you to order what you need.
Take pictures of what you are scratching you head about, we’ll jump in then!!
