2010 HHR Panel LT Manual Trans test drive and ?'s
I took a used 2010 Panel LT with manual trans for a test drive @ dealer today and notice a few things and have questions for those w/ like vehicles. It had 12K on it.
1). When letting out the clutch, there was a vibration through the pedal, Is this normal?
2) It had a rear seat which matched the fronts....I did not thinks the panels had seats in the rear. Is this a option or did someone do a swap?
3) Any way to improve the power? Lack of it was quite noticeable w/ A/C on.
4) What is a good price to pay?
Thanks,

1. Can u describe the vibrating? What does it feel like?
2. Rear seat was a very rare option for panels. Only a few were made with that option added. If you could see the orignal vehicle sticker, that would tell you.
3. 1LT or 2LT? And are you a moderate or aggressive driver? (Was there a check engine light on?)
4. I would guess about $15-16k is what it's stickered? I would think the best price that you could get would be $14,000..

I have a 2007 LT with a five speed, and any vibration in the clutch is not normal. I have no vibrations in mine, the clutch is very smooth. Mine is a 2.2, and IMO does not suffer from a lack of power, even with the AC on. When it is very hot, high 90's or over 100 degrees, I do notice a slight loss of power, but not at lower temps. The cold air it blows is well worth it, though.

My answers to your questions are in bold print;
1. Can u describe the vibrating? What does it feel like?
It's like you can feel some engine vibration through the clutch pedal when releasing. Shifting felt a little notchy
2. Rear seat was a very rare option for panels. Only a few were made with that option added. If you could see the original vehicle sticker, that would tell you.
Don't have the sticker so It's a bit of guess.
3. 1LT or 2LT? And are you a moderate or aggressive driver? (Was there a check engine light on?)
1LT, No CEL on.....Is their a issue? Not really aggressive although do get into the mountains occasionally.
4. I would guess about $15-16k is what it's stickered? I would think the best price that you could get would be $14,000..
I built a LS panel(2011) and can buy for under 15K plus tax. I know some of the features are missing but LT panels are not available for 2011. Asking price on this one is mid-16's. I feel this may be too high.

I'm pretty sure the back seat would have been added.... For insurance reasons I don't think GM had this as an option. (Lack of rear inside door handles would be a huge liability in case of an accident/fire/flood etc. rear passengers couldn't get out of the car themselves)

Well in my opinion, it sounds like a 2.4 price on a 2.2 motor motoretro? Correct me if I am wrong. I believe most 1LT's have 2.2's.. also. wha options DOES it have? Roof rack; 6 disc; leather; power seats; etc.. that all goes into account.
