2010 model problems
Anyone with a 2010 have any problems yet? Im picking up my new 2010 HHR tommorow and have spent the weekend reading this forums about potential problems ect... So does the 2010 model have any issues or is it to early to tell yet ?

The 2010 HHR is largly carry over - It has scored well in Consumers reports / Powers and has very good warranty numbers. This along with 5 star frontal and side crash ratings make it very appealing. I bought one in April after doing all the research. Very pleased with the vehicle to date - fun to drive - will hold snow boards, mountain bike nicely. Also own a Pontiac Solstice GXP.

There's always going to be problems here and there with any mass produced vehicle/product. You're chances are better than not on getting an HHR with no problems whatsoever...
That being said, so far I've got 16,000 miles on mine since February, no problems other than a small door lock issue. Took them less than an hour to fix it in the shop...
Love my little HHR...

I have had my 2010 LT for 3 weeks (700 miles) and have had no problems. No interior or exterior issues -- the paint seems much better than what my 2009 Toyota Matrix had! The ride is much better also but MPG about 25 as opposed to 30 on the Toyota.
This is the best out of the box new vehicle I have had.

Keep in mind that forums are lighting rods for issues regardless of the make or model.
Few people start threads to say I love my car and have no issues.
You will find most people have had good service on the HHR and if they had an issue usally it was minor.

I picked up my new 09 HHR LT a little over 2 weeks ago. Other than the USB not working for a few minutes the first day (hopefully it was a one time glitch) the car is flawless. Very happy w/the quality, looks and drive. We live in a highrise so I really only get to stare at my car at work...I still love looking at it. I initially was unhappy with the fuel economy but at 1700 kms now I am seeing considerably better economy.

I bought my HHR on Cinco de Mayo!
I've already put 1163 miles on it, I drive a lot. No problems at all so far, I'm rather surprised to be honest.
I do notice the dash lights don't come on until it is really kinda dark, I'd program them to turn on my headlamps and have dash lights sooner if I could. Anyway, that's the way the vehicle is made, not something broken.
I think my first tank of gas only averaged 27mpg. Now I seem to be averaging 31 after 3 tanks. I notice the gas gauge isn't really accurate, not that any gas gauge is, I just haven't gotten used to it. I'd like to know if the car is REALLY out of gas when the gauge hits the bottom mark, or if the needle extends below the line before it runs out. I haven't wanted to find out by trial and error hehe.

Pretty sure you should have about 2 gallons left when the display reads "low fuel" - or 50 ish miles. That's usually when I fill up and it takes 14 gallons or so.
