2LT with SS grill.....

Didn't have a camera with me. But yesterday we went to the WalMart on highway 120 in the Dallas/Hiram area and I saw a Victory Red 2LT with the SS grill on it. I was hoping to see what tye did to fit it, it had the standard bumper cover with fogs on it. At the glance I got, it looked like a clean swap. But when I looped back around in the parking light, it was gone.....

solman98; You now have got to hunt the HHR down and get a Pic. for the rest of us to see now that you just put this news flash out. Maybe you want to be like the local news when they say FLASH FLOODS in your area. Back at 10:00 to see if you have been washed away

It's the first time I've seen that one. When I first saw it, I could see the grill and the roof rails. Thinking SS , then I saw the 17" polished alloy's and the standard body badging. Would have like to see if they just cut the lower opening or what. Definatly want to see it closer, cause it looked like the cover was actually "stepped" down for the grill. But unless that is a new option, I know they don't have that for the regular models....

But I will keep an eye out for it again.

Say, didnt Tony ( Hope that's right ) the guy that does Mac Ink shirts do an SS grille on his 2LT? He had to cut the bumper cover to allow the SS grille to sit down in the bumper. If memory serves, he had to use something to open the hood as the conventional release wasnt accessible?

I read that thread then he did that swap. ANother reason I want to see this one again close up. From the distance I saw it, that was about 15 feet when I went by it, it didn't look notched, but actually looked like it had a "step down" for the grill. I could see the bottom of the grill. It was not below the bumper cover. Might have just been the angle I saw it. But made me curious.

When I saw Tony's in person, I was about 2 feet away and you could hardly tell. I'm sure this one was probably cut too.
