If you see FE1 then it has standard suspension and is NOT a 2LT.

Good Luck
Now, here is a bright guy.!!!!!!

Perfct, that is what I was looking for. I have called a couple dealerships and they didn't have the option list for it, so next time I will tell them to look in the glove box and tell me what the sticker says.

The easiest way to spot a 2LT is the fact that it is the ONLY model that comes from the factory with 17" wheels and tires!

Somebody mentioned anti-roll bars... All the models come with a 25 mm front bar and a 22 mm rear bar, BTW. The 2LT comes with the gas shocks.

Is it just me or does the 2LT's rear springs look thicker than the LS/1LT's also?

Don't know if it matters and GM parts books are not ALWAYS correct but, there is only one listing for rear springs. Which could mean all models share the same rear springs. Two different listings for shocks, however. "Soft" suspension and "Sport" suspension.

The problem with the 17" tires is that someone could buy a 1LT and swap the 16" with 17" wheels/tires. That is why I was wondering about a sure way to tell, such as the glove-box sticker as was stated earlier. Still waiting for someone to load pics of shocks from regular HHR.

The 1LT shocks will not have that "warning" sticker on them. The sticker warns of potential explosive hazards when disposing of the pressurized shocks in a fire. The 1LT's standard shocks will not have such a sticker.

Hope it helps,

Here's how to be SURE...

Look on the window sticker... on the right side under "Options & Pricing"....

The first option listed on my sticker is:

2LT PREFERRED EQUIPMENT GROUP
