3 dent saturday

So I think i must be jinxxed with my HHR. I love it , but all the good luck I have had with all my other trucks seems to be gone.

My last two were an 03 GMC ENVOY, and a 00 GMC 2dr 2wd Jimmy.
and I was lucky enough to never get any rock chips in the windsheild,
and no door dings.

But the story is different with my HHR, I have had it for 5 months now,
and this is what has happened in the past month.

-Chip in the windsheild, that started to run, (had it filled... Twice)
- Three rock dings in my E&G Grill
-And yesterday (Sat. apr 28) I was rolling my rear fenders and pushed a little to hard on the driver side and caused the fender to bow in a bit.
The passenger side WAS fine... but I went over to the Canadian Tire
and came out to find a nice door ding creased in my pass side rear fender

-OK so I have to call the Dent guy because they look fixable.
But I go out that night, and come out to find A BIG ding, right on the crease of the rear drivers fender. It will requier a body shop to fix it, because it inverted the body crease and cracked the paint

I guess It must be the GMC gods taking revenge on me for buying a Chevy.

PS: my family had always driven GMC Trucks, I am the first to switch to a Chevy product.

Get use to the windshield chips. There has been discussion on the quality of the windshield.

That poor HHR!

GMC god upset with you? Actually, a GMC version of the panel would look pretty sweet...

Not that it helps now, but one of the rules I use when parking my HHR in a parking lot is to only park it near vehicles that are the same or higher value.

People driving junkers don't care about their vehicle or anyone elses.

Sorry to hear of your bad experience - but I thought the Chevy and GMC god was one and the same?

my rule is that I just don't park near anyone, EVER. I park the furthest away from every store that I go to, I absolutely REFUSE to ever park near anyone else's car in any parking lot. I am a psycho when it comes to those types of things. If I ever caught someone putting a dent in my ride it would be a scary situation.

Same here. I would rather walk a distance than take a chance on some yahoo who doesn't care about their own car, let alone mine. My problem is my secret parking place at my local Walmart isn't a secret anymore . but I figure anyone parking there feels the same about their ride as I do mine, otherwise they would park closer.

I'd have to agree Mike! Most GMC products (Maybe All!!) just appear to be Chevys with a little fancier "Window Dressing".
