36K Miles -- Warranty Expiring

I am about 500 miles away from the magic 36K on my 2010 LT. Two questions for the group:
1. Are there any TSBs I need to have them check for? I have had the ignition switch replaced and a new steering column.
2. I have read the manual that discusses Maintenance I and Maintenance II but what should I expect to pay and have done at 36K miles?

For the record, my SilverDivots will be 3 years old on May 1. I have had very few issues other than the ones noted above.

My wife has a 2006 LT with 66K miles and still has the original brakes.
Thanks!

I don't know about your Dealer but mine offered to take the vehicle in and inspect it for Free.
This was a 2005 Chevy Venture van but was up against the warranty date as you are.
They found 1 front wheel bearing going and replaced it.
I did not notice any symptoms from that bearing.
I also have a 2010 HHR Silver 1LT with 23,000 miles and have had the same 2 items repaired under Warranty as you.
My warranty expires the middle of June.

Thanks Silverfox. I am going to see if they will check the sway bars and end links and maybe consider replacing the rear hatch struts.

I have a little clunking noise in the front end (much worse on my wife's 2006) and the rear hatch struts "groan" and do not go up all the way in cold weather.

Yes, have them check out the front end noises as there are many TSB's that address those areas/issues.
Coverage goes away at the end of the Bumper to Bumper warranty.

Make sure they will not be charging you for doing the checking before they start.

Also go in before you actually hit 36,000 miles

Went to my dealership yesterday. 35K service was $493. Thought that was pretty high for, tranny flush, fuel filter and service, air filter, oil change, brake flush. Doubt the brake flush was really needed. My guess is this would have been 50% less at an independent garage. No TSB work done.

I Hate to say it but I think your Dealer is dishonest.

1. For starters your Owners Manual states that your transmission should only be serviced @ 50,000 miles but only if it comes under Severe Service conditions.

2. There is no required Fuel Filter service for this car as it is in the Gas Tank and is considered a lifetime part.

3. Brake flushes are normally only done and included at the time of a complete brake job unless you have had some unusual driving conditions.

Beyond that I question if they really looked hard at the TSB's available on front end noise issues.

I would go back and have them show you where the gas filter is in your car that they supposedly replaced.

They should be ashamed for this kind of Rip Off.....
