don't have to do the search themselves, and hopefully one of the other members will
be able to provide the info you are looking for. Seems pretty easy to understand to me.

I have drilled through the floor. Pretty simple to get under the car and use the old eyeball to look for obstructions. There are a couple of reinforcement that makes for tough drilling, but they can be avoided. Nothing is hidden in the floor. I cut some of the carpet out to get on to metal, there might be a wire or 2 under it.

The info shows that kit mounts to the drivers seat hump where the seat hooks attach. The kit does not appear to mount to the flat portion of the floorboard.
I had my seat out when doing my seat lowering mod. Checked out that hump area. There aren't any lines or wires run in there.

Shouldn't be a problem to mount it the way the instructions show. Although, you will probably need to trim back the carpet on the hump so you can mount the bracket to bare metal.

Yeah communication here can be troublesome at times, and people can read into things a lot more than was actually meant. But jeesh, no reason to be blatantly rude to someone that is obviously trying to help.
