5-spd manual guys: How many miles on your original clutch?
My 2006 HHR 2LT has a bit over 131k miles on it and the clutch hasn't yet shown any signs of slippage, but I was wondering how much life I can expect before it will need replaced. Obviously, driving style and your city/highway mix will affect clutch life a lot, but I just thought I'd get some input from the community. My driving is roughly 25% city, 75% highway.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Thanks, guys. I'm pretty easy on the clutch. After posting my question I noticed there's a thread with a guy who claims to have 320k on the original clutch.
I'm probably good for quite a while, then.

The first auction on-line vehicle I bought outside the Govt GSA site was a 5spd 2.2L 2008 113k mi. Not able to test drove and slipped at high revs all the way home.
It was the reason I found this forum site and joined. How to do the clutch ...
The pedal clutch master cylinder mounting bracket under the dash side had been repaired with globs of welding.
Easy replacement but then the synchro for third was bad and it was hit and miss depending on revs up-shifting 2-3 or go second to 4th easy enough.
Thats how I left it until I sold that at 160k+ with a 2001 E350 to a guy who never drove either of them.
He came back complaining and I reluctantly gave him $300 back. Couple days later he came back and told me about the synchro repair,
and bought a 1990 Ford class B van for too. No I'm not a dealer just was a bit enthusiastic with 6 in the stable.
I'd consider trying a fully operational manual again but a lazy automatic preferable around here with numerous lights and 4 way stops
