I love the truck HHR rendering! thats bad A$$!!! as for Doc's 57 look alike, his shop is located down here locally. i have seen that car up close. All the mods are hand formed sheet metal so he does know his stuff... he has a Silverado and a Tahoe that are set up the same way, they are also hand formed sheet metal. As far as the over all looks, i was not impressed. IT's different, i'll give em that.

A couple things...

First, lest anyone think otherwise...the "Doc" that created the '57 Chevy/HHR is not THIS "Doc"! (not that anyone would..but ya never know)

Second, and on a more serious note... is there anyone out there "in the know" who is aware of any serious consideration GM might be giving to producing an HHR open bed pickup? Just wondering...

Doc (the one with the non-'57 Chev HHR)

There are a few posts here about it. I think it's ugly as hell. Some people like it though.

I don't think the fendors work on the HHR at all.

Somewhere I saw a thread about the kit that this was made from. I think it was from one of the California companies that made a Woody version kit for the HHR. At one time I had their website. The Woody version was about $12k, I can only imagine how pricey this would be.
