I'm going with the synthetic
I've read a lot on the synthetic oils and they seam to have an advantage with the smaller engines that are reved so high and have to work so hard. I'm amazed at the power I get from my 2.2L! Just think if they used that technology in the old muscle cares? A 442! Sheez!

I myself have taken my HHr in to the Dealership for an Oil change & Tire rotation every 7000 miles, I now have 42,000 mile and it runs outstanding, Good luck with yours.
Note at 7000 mile is when my Oil lite says Oil Life is 25%

Not a bad idea. Tire rotation and oil change at the same time probably saves a little money and the longer interval still keeps a lot of oil out of the environment.

I had the factory fill changed out at 4900 kms just because I did not want to run break-in oil all the way until the OLM said to change it.
I'm now at 13,000 kms (29% oil life left but it's starting to feel sluggish) and need a tire rotation done. I'm hoping that Pennzoil Platinum goes on sale this weekend so I can switch it over to synthetic and get the tire rotation done.
