aaaarrrrrgghhhh
I was at a stoplight this evening going home from work, there was a black ford f250 diesel in front of me, he decided he wanted in the right turn lane instead of the left forward lane and proceeded to put this fullsize behemoth in reverse much to my dismay. I laid on my weak azz horn long and strong but he could not hear it over his giant diesel beast, he could not see my ride behind him either, and for the life of him he did not know why the backup beeper or whatever it is did not go off ...needless to say the saltyfish ride is getting a new front clip tomorrow (minus hood, seems ok), my decision now is should I leave my plate off my newfound front end, or should I put the plate holder back on so I can proudly display my jolly roger (which I love). Heres to hoping for good paint matching it all happened in like an hour and a half or so it seemed...very sloooooooooooooow motion watching bigfoot back over my ride.

Anyway, leave the bracket off. You can always put it on later if you want to go back.

Sorry to here about your accident. I wish people would pay attention to what goes on around them.
Here in Ohio we have to display a front plate. I wouldn't put it back on if I had to. I would replace it with a new "LOUDER" horn.
Can't believe your hood didn't get hurt. How about the grill?

that sucks man! that is why coming up to stop sighns and lights if i'm behind something that likely will have trouble seeing me, i hug over to one side or the other, and put myself in one of their mirrors. too many close calls in my Camaro, it's a habit now, i even do it in my big ol truck haha.
