Question About to order one

Howdy all--been a member since FEB 08--but not an Owner... I'm finally ready to order a new 09 HHR LT.. A bit confused on one issue--I'm uncertain if I want to delete the 3rd windows.. I've seen some "average" photos, but never seen one "in peson".. Any of you have one with the windows deleted? Any photos?

thanks--I look forward to "talking" with all of you soon--AND, once I've decided, I'm told that it takes about 60 days for ordered HHR's to arrive..

it's enough of a rarity that you see these around that I would certainly delete that 3rd window if i were to order one.

I've only ever seen one in person.

That's my opinion

This Victory Red one belongs to Kris (lyntmr61) of our group, SoCal HHR's
https://www.chevyhhr.net/gallery/fil...riswheels4.JPG

They are pretty cool and have only seen 2-3 beside Kris's.

See you're in Oceanside, you just missed hanging out with us today at Meguiars in Irvine for a car-cleaning clinic!

What color you thinking of getting?

That's a great photo--thanks!! Red is "one" color I'm looking at.. But I also like white and "maybe" the new Silver Ice or Gold colors--but I want to see the Gold 1st.. I am considering a 2-tone paint scheme after it arrives.. something like black over Gold or red/cream.. whew--the big decisions in life!!

I hope to meet the "So Cal HHR's" someday soon! Did not know about Irvine..

I own a silver lt2 with the aa5 option. i love it. it turns alot of heads. not too many on the road. i wanted the full panel, but with two kids it was a great compromise. sorry i don't have any photos ready to be posted. hopefully soon.

AA5 is the name of the option...and from what I gather, it drops the price of the car due to lower production costs(no window to deal with).

I love them...I have been looking for one "used" or "new" on the lot, as I am not in a position to go out and order/wait for a new car.

SOM, white, or even black...I am not a fan of black HHR's in stock form...but modified, or the "special" models with the black chrome wheels and ghost pinstripe and roof spoiler...if I found a black AA5, with ebony interior(a must after owning a gray cloth interior) might just tempt me.

Thanks--my info shows that they actuall "charge more" for the deletion--about $ 195 I think.. But that's OK--steel costs more than glass!
