ACDelco vs Delphi ignition coils
Is there any reason why I should not replace the ignition coils on my 2007 HHR LT with Delphi GN10485 coils instead of the D522C?
Am not having any misfires or codes. Car has 107,000 miles and will be doing a tuneup.

Yes, the reason being you have NO misfires or codes.
That does not make any sense. Replacing the coils is not part of a tune up. You might as well replace the wheels as part of the tune-up.

From what I've read Delphi was part of AC Delco. Read the opening paragraph of this.

I would not replace them at all. They are not known for failing on a regular basis. I keep my vehicles for a long time and for many miles. I've yet to have to replace a coil. My HHR has 158k on it.
All a "tune up" is these days is replacing plugs (and wires for cars that have them, like my truck).
