The wife and I were leaving Lowes today when a lady in PT cruiser parked in front of us. I was busy loading the HHR and I turned around and the PT owner was standing next to my car smiling . She said "that sure is a nice looking car".and asked me what it was. I told her about the good MPG and she was impressed. She said her cruiser didn' t get very good mileage and overall wasn't very happy with it. Hopefully she will trade it in and get a HHR so she can have the thrill of owning a great automobile that all of us have.

 

Had one of those today at Lowes too. We went to get a new burner for the gas grille and found a nice one on sale, so bought that instead of the burner. Guy was nice and offered to load it in the car, so we went out the store. He said...where's your car and I said it's that orange one over there. When we walked up, he said "wow...this is really neat looking...what is it?" so while he loaded up the grille I told him about it. When he was done he walked around it and said...are these expensive...and I said not really...and he said he just might have to go check them out. Told him if he needed more info to log on to chevyhhr.net and check out all the happy owners, so he wrote down the addy, he said thanks and we were on our way.

BTW...don't you just love telling PT owners about the HHR? Guess we'll have to watch for a new member who traded in an HHR in your area.
