14500 miles and not one trip back to the dealership for any issues. What I've done consists of tires, rims, traction bar, running boards, fog lights, cargo mat, stubby antenna, regular oil changes, tire rotations and upkeep. The information display says I've averaged 28.6 mpg and I've been loving every mile. It's a keeper.

I don't love my HHR, but I do like it. It gets the job done for the most part... hauls my fat a$$ around town to and from work allows me to enjoy my hobbies, jst wish I could average 28 mpg. but 18 miles in stop and go traffic is murder on the fuel econ..

I have had my driver's license for 46 years, and have owned quite a few cars in my time. With the exception of my 1963 Hillman Super Minx, my 2007 HHR LS is the most satisfying car I have ever owned. There isn't anything that I don't like about it.
All complex machinery develops a fault or two eventually - it's in the nature of physical reality. If I were allowed to gripe, I would offer the opinion that the problems that beset most modern vehicles (not just the HHR) really should not happen. But cost-cutting to remain competitive means that the occasional sub-standard component gets integrated into even the highest priced vehicles, let alone vehicles in the lower end of the range.
