Often I notice the same people copmplain often. Some of it may really be an issue with the vehicle and many others are just the fact they are dealing with a bad dealer that can not fix the issues at hand.
Think you will find most people are happy. Now we also have the understanding that the HHR is also not the end all be all of cars. Are there things that could be better ...Yes! But for the money most of us paid and if there have been any issues most of them were small or easily taken care of.
While some here pine on how the HHR could have been better buy thinking AWD and more expensive interiors they also tend to forget the price point this car was kept at. Lets face it this is not a CTS but again we did not pay a CTS price either. Few would have paid that.
For the money Chevy delivered a fun, affordale, practical, good MPG car. It hit a good solid segment of the market at a time Chevy needed something that sold well.
I would have loved to seen how an HHR today would have come out based on the new improved Delta II platform under the Cruze. But it has had its time and it has come and gone. Retro is on its way out as the Mustang also just anounced they are moving in a new direction. Time will tell how that works out.
