Aftermarket audio confusion

Are you trying to put back a stock radio, and someone cut off the connector to splice in an aftermarket one?
Good, because if you're trying to install an aftermarket radio, It's a well-known mistake to attempt to make the connections yourself by splicing. The correct adapter is pretty much mandatory.
You'll want a connector cut from a scrap car, too.

I have been looking for the correct adapter to hook up a Boss BVCP9700A unit to my hhr with no luck. I couldn't even find it on Boss' website or crutchfield. Any suggestions? It would sure make things alot simpler having the adapter.
I found a wiring diagram for the 14 pin and 16 pin connectors but it seems like i am missing a few of the wires. The Grey supply voltage that is supposed to be pin 2 on the 14 pin connector is not there. On the 16 pin I am missing R and L audio signal (+) on pins 1 and 2, voice signal and audio common on pins 8 and 9,and voice low ref on pin 16.
Damn I miss the cars from the 70s and 80s!
