Air Intake Boost

I have been reading a lot of post about getting more and cooler air into the intake. Weather it be by using an aftermarket intake such as AIRAID, CSG, or by other means. Has anyone thought about installing a little 12 volt variable speed fan on intake box? Possibly could hook it up to tachometer controller and use that to control the fan speed? Just an idea that I have been kicking around and wanted to see what ya'll think about it.

Never heard of it referred to like that - but, that sounds about right. I was not sure if anyone had done any research on it or tried to adapt something to the HHR. I am still looking for more information.

Look up MimoElectric Supercharger and/or ERam. Both run around $349 but sometimes are on sale. I've read they work better w/ a tune designed for them.

Yeah, I thought he would figure that out, espically after seeing the price. :-)

There is a HHR owner that put not one, but two of those on his HHR.
He swears by it.

He made an oops once and installed them backwards.

Nice! If both were backwards he prolly had a negative air flow and I don't think that would help him much. :-)
