allmost a ss good bad & redneek

ok wanted a red ss panel very hard to find
so i found and bought a reel nice red 08 panel
looking on cragislist next day i find a 08 ss that had a blown up motor
and dead turbo now don't get mad to be honest it was to nice to strip it
but there is more to this story
the wife got the ex husband car two months before and told me she was
happy that she driving it when it went boom so i ask if they will sell me all the ss parts
said sure son said he would start striping the hhr that weekend to help
well mom helped out with a hammer by busting out the windows mirrors
and taillight before i got there [ did i say she hated her ex ]
now on to the redneck part i needed the ac vent on the pass side of dash
when i hear a saw all he cut up the pass side of dash and hands it to me
he them cut up the rear panel to get the sub woofer and other stuff
wanted to help more with saw i said thanks but i would get the rest of parts
then then stared planning how to blow up the air bag as that' was fun
they were planing to burn the hhr and roast hot dogs
got out of there

Kinda like takin a Lasalle grille and fitting it to a 36 Ford , an upgrade but not really a LaSalle. But it is prettier!

Looks like a good score, and as long as your happy, that's all that counts. But I would remove the LS badge now.....

Never seen a "boast" gauge.
Real SS's have a gauge that shows "boost".

You might want to check your keyboard. The button for the letter "o" doesn't seem to be working right.
