alternative running boards

Found this on ebay. Will this work just like the running boards to protect rear fenders?

Looks like they are from a RAZZI kit. From what I remember, they are not going to be much better than the stock skirts, and not as good as running boards.

I just noticed those and was wondering about them as well being as they are half the price of factory running boards, I just wish they had a better picture.
