Am I crazy? I just can't stand a dirty car! (Pics)

Had to pick up the HHR today from dealer today (ignition had to be replaced) and it snowed a bunch last night. I try not to drive when they put down that much salt but had no choice.
After getting home I just had to wash it before putting it in garage. Car wash is 10 miles away and the roads are so bad that would have been a waste of money.
My question is am I the only one that will hand wash in the snow or am I crazy like everyone here thinks?

At first I was going to say you're crazy, but seeing the final product, that is sharp!

Crazy?

I just washed mine after we got 2 inches of snow last night and have the good feeling it will last till Monday till I get it out to go to work.

My neighbor just came home with his new Camaro SS and was out washing it too. But he was smart and bought a Used 2007 Trailblazer too for a winter beater.

Just make sure to run the water out of the hoseso it will not be frozen for the next time. It's going to be a long winter.

Not crazy.... I used to go out there while it's raining so I can wipe it down with a chamois..the idea was to defeat the creation of water spots...more often it would defeat me

We don't have to worry too much about snow down here, but after I picked up mine from the dealership today, I went straight home and washed/waxed it knowing it was gonna rain this afternoon
