another HHR bites the dust
well today was a very unlucky day as i was traveling down the 4 lane road doing 65 miles an hour when a guy at a cross road pulls out in front of me i broadsided him at 65 miles an hour , i could not believe how well built the HHR is . it held up very good considering going 65 miles an hour . ill try to post some pics next week .....my 07 premier is totaled with 32000 miles on it. thank god everybody is ok ......

As long as everybody is OK, that's the most important thing. Your HHR did what it was supposed to do, and it can be replaced. Sorry that your holiday weekend came to such a bad beginning, but take care of yourself and keep us posted.

What is it with HHR's????
I swear we get hit more often than any other vehicle. We get a lot of crashes here and seldom is the HHR at fault.
Do we have targets on us?
Sorry to hear this, been there and and walked away myself. Glad everyone is safe.

I have noticed that my HHR is invisable to most drivers on the parkways/expressways going through rush hour. My 1985 Olds Delta 88 Battleship would always "create" a cushion os space around it based on it's size and made of steel-most people stayed away from me and never seemed to cut me off. Most even got out of my way even if I was just doing 55 in the middle lane-it was like parting the Red Sea. Now with the HHR even when I blow my horn and they are cutting in front of me with only a pubic hairs room between my bumper and theirs they look suprised and then get pissed at me like it's my fault.
Thanks for reminding me. Machine guns will be mounted tomorrow! Train horns mounted at end of bumper to bumper

Not counting on any specific source because my bumper to bumper will not be done until about 15 months from now. Will just keep looking around for pricing and size. Hopefully next spring/summer I may go on some mini trips to some swap meets and will really start looking to buy then. Otherwise for now may keep the stock or if it bothers me enough I'll get the Wolo Bad Boy as a temporary measure but keep the stock plug on the factory horn wiring and create a "mating plug" on the Wolo.
