Another new guy

Hello to all! Just picked up my '08 HHR which will be my daily driver and will give my SSR a rest over the winter. I look forward to reading and learning here as I have over on the SSR forum! In the coming weeks, I am going to deliver my HHR to Bob over at Socal Cruisers for a woody package and other mods and make it "mine." This is going to be fun.
Best to all,
Jamie

Thanks Snoopy! I was diagnosed with cancer on March 27, 2007 and with the support of the Foundation and the SSR Fanatics (a great group!), I made it into remission. Lance is saving a lot of lives through teaching us how to fight this killer! The HHR makes me smile and that is good for my health!

Welcome. Those are the worst words you ever want to hear, you have cancer. It is even worst went a doc says it is left to the guy upstairs, and you don't believe in religion. I know. I had a kidney removed 7yr ago and in 2003 a piece of a lung. 4 yrs later they can't find the cancer anymore. Good luck to you. I give to the Kidney Cancer Foundation and to St Judes. Feel the same way about the HHR. I was about to give up afew years ago but decided I wanted one of these cars.

Although I've never had to deal with cancer (and hopefully never will), I was diagnosed with ESRD, and told that if I didn't catch it when I did, that I had maybe a month or two left at the most. 15 months of dialysis later, recieved a kidney transplant. My choice of charities to give to now are NKF and organ donation awarness.

I personally want to say Thank You. I look at life differently now and don't feel afraid of death like I use to. It has slowed me down some but that might just be from getting old . Still love a car that has body style like the HHR
And a BIG THANKS to all the doctors, surgeons and medical people out there and to all the future medical people.
Thanks again
