Update…I loosened and unscrewed the antenna mast…everything looked ok so screwed it back in and tightened it back up….seems to be picking up stations a LOT better. When drive it some, Ill report back

It was pretty tight….I figure slight oxidation…idk.
might be all in my head. It is clear and cold here today so station are usually easier to get in thise conditions

I replaced the 'stubby' antenna with a longer one and can get about 3 or 4 additional miles on a distant station. New antenna is about 16 inches long compared to the 3 inch stubby.

think mine is stock length antenna
