I actually was trying to trade mine in 2 months ago for a new 4dr wrangler...love that darn thing...anyway...my trade in values were between $9000-$11000!! That hurt my feelings so I kept my belived grey ghost. BTW..I have a LS with 6000 miles. Manual with XM and ABS.

I hate to say it but we did get a mid-level economy car! Not really much of a surprise, there just wasn't a big 1st year demand like there was for the PT or the Miata. Those held their value for a few years before it dropped. GM just didn't put much of an effort into promoting it. They really couldn't afford to.
Just think, if we'd waited, we could get a few of the custom HHR's that were done for less that what we paid for ours.
I'm still very happy with mine. I figure they'll drop a bit and then level out.

whatever
I'm not worried, because I LOVE MY HHR so much that I plan to keep it 'til it is paid off anyway, my wife & I even plan on buying a second one. I only feel sorry for all of the suckers out there driving around in Toyotas & Hondas and blending into the boring suburban landscape...
UNBLEND!

i like mine too but ive out grown it! i need more room and more towing capacity something like a trail blazer. just sucks for the ones who need to get out of their hhr because of lifestyle changes and so on.

Try using Edmunds.com to get a value. I just did recently and Edmunds' trade-in value was nearly $500 more than KBB's. Yeah, that's not much... but it's the difference between $12,750 and $13,250. Edmunds also lets you value your HHR with the running boards and a real spoiler (if so equipped) unlike KBB. And BTW, NADA's is like $2,000 more than KBB!
