Anyone Here a Member over a GM Owner Center?

I found the site http://www.gm.com/gmownercenter/

Clicking signup pops up a warning window saying that you are navigating away from GM to a Yahoo! site where you will have to enter your Yahoo! ID or create a new one.

Has anyone here joined this "community"? Is it something new from post-bankruptcy GM or has it been around for a while? Would it be worth time just to see all of my service history info in one place? Might be good to have if / when I sell my HHR.

Appreciate any and all thoughts. :)

I joined it right after purchasing my HHR, used my existing Yahoo account and input my car's info.

It contains some good info plus my onstar diag report.

I use it.....

Some people use the GM Owners Center AN the OnStar Monthly reports as vehicle documentation on service history, recalls, etc. Great for resale to a private party.

I'm a member.

It's kind of helpful, but this site is better for knowledge updates about the car.

Recalls and TSBs are never posted on the GM Owner's center. For instance, the one for the airbag and dash compartment latch was never posted. It still shows HHR recalls as (0).

But it does provide me with info on my OnStar account. It's a good place to store service records (but I keep a book anyway).

I can't get it to register my car at all. I have a 2006 HHR which the site seems to think doesn't exist.

Angry

I have the same issue with it as allman. When I try to add a vehicle it goes to a blank page and has a warning at the bottom that says "error on page". I just e-mailed the help center.
