anyone used Gmpartsdirect.com
Their site (gmpartsdirect.com) says their prices are below wholesale just wondering if they. Are legit and how long they take to ship.
I called my local dealer and asked if they could match a price and the local dealer said they pay more for the mud flaps themselves

They are legit, but they will overcharge on shipping to make up for the low price you see initially. The overall price is usually decent, but sometimes a local dealer might be able to come close when you factor in the shipping cost.

I looked a part up on thier web site, printed off what it would cost, and took it to my local Chevy dealer. They sold me the part for the price GM Direct was asking and I had it in two days.

Their shipping costs are horrible. They have sent me the wrong parts on occasion also, and they are hard to communicate with

Rock Auto's pricing and shipping and service and integrity is far above GM Parts Direct.
For example, when I was ready to upgrade my 2LT suspension to the SS parts, I contacted almost everyone....including dealers (especially the ones I have history and personal acquaintances). Every source said the, I believe, drivers side front strut was on national back order....INCLUDING Rock Auto (side related story about GM Parts Direct, but it's for another time). I was disappointed and canceled my R&R.
However, 2 days after talking with Rock Auto, I received a phone call from the Customer Service guy I was previously talking with. Apparently I had raised an interest and he did some further study to find the parts. He had located them and could ship them in 2 days, if I still wanted them. I ordered them.
Pricing.......$101.79 EA.
minus 5% discount coupon
$12.20.....Fed Ex.
My total came out $27 and change cheaper than GM Parts Direct. Even though they listed the parts struts for a lesser amount.
Oh, and my charge card statement indicated Rock Auto L.L.C. was paid NOT GM PARTS DIRECT.
Now that is what I call service. So I ordered several more parts from them since then. A few times they were lower than MY GM DISCOUNT at the dealer (after tax and/or shipping was applied respectively).

I just meant put RockAuto in your "quote cycle", along with Ebay and a few others. I have been both happy and disappointed by their prices, service seems fairly good, shipping is fast (maybe expensive). I am not endorsing any one company.
