Count both of us as passenger side users too!

I used the passenger armrest too at times. Then I tried putting them both down and setting my purse up there. That made me decide to try something higher.

Vivid, have you considered sewing armrest covers that include some batting on the top to make them higher and more comfortable for you?

I love armrests so much that I bought this one for our Oddity on ebay!

I made a lower bid, still too much $80.00 but they took it . Nice piece. Now we have one huge armrest LOL! Plus it opens. Our HHR really needs a redesign in the middle, doesn't it?

Keep on Chromin"
Hey, that should be my new motto

Yeah, we are a small but growing sub-users group! Weak arms, all of us

I had it done. There was a definite improvement over the original ones but they are still not like I would like them and the passenger one still points down lower than the driver side, when the seat backs are both in the same position. A member here came up with a DIY How-To fix that in the end is probably better than the hastle of two trips to the dealer (one so they could confirm the issue and order parts and one to have the install done).

I hadn't even thought of that, but it sounds like a probable idea. I don't have a machine or anything but I'm sure that if I provided all of the proper measurements, I could probably find a seamstress that would be able to whip something up for me.

Thanks for the idea!

My 07 drivers arm rest points down although it is not supposed to be an issue for 07's???

I sit semi straight up...not about to put my seat in a position where I am looking out the back window just to have the arm rest level!

I'm also a passenger arm rest user!

I always use the passenger armrest too, but then, I'm always the passenger!
