My 09 SS has both armrests, and I have both driver's + passenger's performance seats (granted mine is an auto).

HHR Armrest

Well here it is the armrest for our HHRs manufactured by J&J Products. Here's a pic of the armrest with install parts included. I used my other toy, 90 Lumina for background.

Here's the cover plate for pass. side installed.

Here's the mounting plate for armrest and exposed hole where bolt will go to fasten armrest to mount.

Here's a few shots of armrest installed. Looks factory,Materials match, doesn't interfere with seat movement or access to e-brake. Measures 5 1/2X14". Improved comfort, now I can rest my whole forearm and not just the elbow. These will be offered on E-Bay soon, still haven't set price but may be around 135.00. I'll call Jim tomorrow and find out when they will be available for purchase.

Now that rite-der is cool. I am always very particular about having the passenger seat in the same position as my seat so the arm rests will line up. Perfect solution. I will be looking for this on the e-bay!

This could be a good idea. I really don't mind the "arms" all that much, though. Has anyone else bought and installed them?

Yes, it is. Quality is good enough to be a GM Certified product IMO.
