Auto start to cool car down
I know in the north you want to warm your car up in the morning using the auto start feature. well in texas we want to cool it down. the manual says to leave the cooling controls where you want them and it will either heat or cool your car when using your auto start. mine does not work. it turns the air off as well as the recirculate every time I turn the car off.. my other hhr (which I Totaled) work the way the manual and sales flyers said but I can't get this one to work. any idea what I need to do. Can the dealer fix this. my warranty ends real soon. looking forward to hear your ideas. john

Interesting, really. My AC, to the best of knowledge, is on when the vehicle starts if it was on when I shut it off. A work-around for this would be to set the AC to defrost mode as this turns on the AC. Set temperature to desired level, and turn the fan up. This will kick in the AC regardless of whether you push the AC button or not.

they all should, revert to fresh air. If the inside of the car is 110 degrees, you do not want it to recirculate that heat, Todd (Uma)
