Avg MPG not resetting

Could not find this issue in any other post. My Avg MPG is not resetting. I noticed it went from 23.5 to about 20.4 for no reason and tried a reset. No workie.

Any ideas?

I did read the manual. Reset it before and it worked.

Does the button cycle the displays? If you hit it will it go to show you tire pressure, odometer, etc? If not then it's a problem with the button and if so then it's a problem probably with the software.

How long are you holding down on the reset button? Mine seems to take a bit of time to clear the memory.

I have held it down for a second, a few seconds - up to 30 seconds. Does not reset.
