I just bought a battery from advance gold 90t5 and ask the guy were is the vent tube is? Oh you just use the one from the old battery to hookup ...ok this the first time i am installing on hhr 2007 just wondering if it well work ?the new battery has a small hole on the side were i guess it goes in ,going to do this in a cold garage and do not want any problems ,any suggestions? hope that advance is not hosing me on the vent tube

 

That is the correct hole. Do not work on the tube in the cold! The part that plugs into the battery is VERY brittle, The good news is that you can order a new tube for about $10.
