BCM pinout information.

Hello all, it's been a while.
I was hoping someone on here could help me out and point me in the right direction to finding BCM wire Schematics and pinout information on a 2008 HHR.

I am doing a transplant into a 35 chevy and would like the cruise to work as well as other options that I would like to run through a donar BCM. Any info would be great.

Thanks

Any body have anything?

Another Question in same line. Does anyone know how the grey cruise control wire interacts with the bcm when the Switches on the cruise are pressed?

Near as I can tell the BCM "see's" a spacific voltage voltage from each button push. Is this right?

I can send you the service manual sections on the BCM/wiring harness for the 2 model years before '08 via e-mail if you'd like. Just not sure if the BCM can be tricked into functions properly without the complete set of inputs it would normally see when hooked up in the GM-LAN high speed vehicle network.

PM me with an e-mail address if you'd like the manual sections in PDF form to see what you can do with them.

E-mails are on their way to you longhornss, hope the info helps in some way. Like I said in my note, the closest my '37 Chevy gets to being computerized is when I leave my i-Pad on the passenger seat.

Thanks 843de.

not too sure that all the info in the emails is relevant to the 2008/9 BCM.

Does anyone know the Part # for the 2006/7 BCM?

the BCM I have is #25906892

Looks like the part number for a 2006 model is a 20889029, and the part number for the 2007 is a 25910845, which was then replaced by the 25906892 for the 2008 model year.

What are the differences between the part numbers, darn good question. I'm finding it hard to verify if there were significant changes in the pin usage between the model years, but I'm not done looking just yet.

yeah I would assume there is not too much different in the different part numbers, the only difference that I would think of for the 2008 and up would be that it would need to be able to communicate with the BOSCH PCM for the LNF engine.

Thanks for all the help. I appreciate it.

Many thanks to XXL he had a bundle of diagrams and pinouts. Exactly what I was looking for.

Well not every thing. I still need to know the output voltage of the grey wire connected into the BCM when the cruise buttons are pushed.
