4 days later, she drops it out the door, and Grandpa promptly drives over it.
What fun.....she asked if that was covered under warranty.....LOL

Looks familiar.
I only had my PSP playing tunes through the stereo sitting on the passenger seat slide into the abyss going around a turn. It unplugged itself along the way so I hear the faint music from its speakers under the seat until I could pull over and extract it.

Cell phone in custom holder/clip that is suctioned to the windshield in the lower left corner (from Pro Clips). Holds the phone in lower portion of my field of vision, but it doesn't obstruct any view. iPod and Sirius radio in upper glove box. Only thing that goes in my center console cup holders is ... cups! Nothing slides around, nothing falls off, nothing gets lost. Of course, Jawbone bluetooth headset in my ear or in the door pocket if not in use.

You all are looking at the "abyss seat" the wrong way.
My 2 year old grandson was acting up, so I sliped him between the console and passanger seat. I did hear some muffled sounds, so I turned up the music. After an hour, I used some OBGYN Forescepts and pulled him out. He never said a word, just looked at me with huge eyes like this:
The other day he was over at the house acting up and I looked at him saying, "I think it's time we went for a ride in my HHR." He immediately stopped what he was doing and sat very quietly playing with his toy.
Oh yes, when I pulled him out he had found some things: Three car keys, two cell phones, eight pennys, four french fries and an adult's index finger (looked fresh too).
I love my HHR!
