best product to hide scratches/white marks on paint

So I noticed on Wed. there was a 1/2 inch scratch (it doesn't look deep and might just be a white mark on the paint) on the side skirt right under the driver side door. Also today I did the first wash and wax and noticed on the driverside corner of the front bumper there are about 6 little half circle white marks/scratches that form a nice line w/ just to the left 2-3 1 inch lighter/less noticable marks. The side skirt one I am not sure about, but the bumper ones must have been on there when I bought it 2 weeks ago. Wish I would have looked it over alittle better before taking delivery, cuz then the dealer would have had to take care of it. So I washed, clayed and waxed it and they did lighten up any. So my question is does that Mequires stuff or anyother brand work the best at hiding these marks? would car polish work?

i use 3m brand scratch remover. you really have to work it but i have found this is the easiest to use by hand. you could always check out zainos but its online only and really expensive.

According to the hot-shot Billy Mays, Scotch will solve all of your problems!! Before you order, do some investigating, because not everyone is happy....

I own and show a black car and own a black SS so I know scratches well.

I use Meguires profesional line of polishes in the quart bottles. this is not the skinny botlle stuff Autozone and others carry.
I
It comes in degess of abrasiveness but all are clear coat safe.

From the most abrasive to the leat are listed below. I keep a bottle of each to deal with the type of clean up I need. There is no one do all product out there. Even 3M has several levels.

Diamond Cut
Power Cleaner
Dual Cleaner
Swirl Polish
Hand Polish

I used a Porter Cable 6 inch buffer as it is safe and easy to use on light clean up. Many pro detailers use these for quick clean up of an area.

I then use a Pure or as pure as you can get carnuba paste. I use Mothers Gold.

My Pontiac is over half original paint and most thing I just painted it. It is 25 years old and has placed at national Pontiac meets often.
