At least for my Panel which has the 2.2 and an the auto tranny the window sticker shows the Engine and the Transmission are both made the in the United States.
Not all the auto transmissions are made in Windsor Ontario Canada so your sticker is wrong and who ever released that information is over paid.

Best bet, drive both and see what you like. Don't worry about resale value. If you look at KBB or other sites, there are very few options that make any differance at "resale".
