I thought I saw them the other day, but did they offer black roof rails? If so, I have a set of chrome one if anyone wants to trade.

He has black rails (but he also has an SS).

Before I bought Blackie, I was going to order on 08 and didn't like the fact the roof rails were chrome on the ends and black plastic in the middle (my sister's 07 Tahoe's rails look like this). I notice a lot of the 08's don't have the chrome that my 07 does (color matched everything). I would have been disappointed if I had ordered my IBM and there was none on it...I like chrome

i was at the dealer the other day and one or two of them their had solid black roof rails. if i'm remembering correctly it was a pretty plain red AA5. I know it didn't have any of the chrome upgrades since i noticed the exhasut tip looked tiny compared to the others around.

actually i just looked it up and here's the window sticker on it.

So i'm pretty sure it was that one because i was surprised to see solid black rails.

 

We just got a new '08 LS and it has black roof rails that look good on the Sunburst Orange.

 

Black is now the standard. with a chrome package, the ends are chrome. Originally, the chrome were ALL chrome.

 

How much are the black cross bows?

 

I have the black rails and I like them WAY better than chrome.

 

I have them, they come standard on the Premiere Edition:)

 

About $300 mailorder, even more from the dealer. Been wanting some since I got the HHR, but cant justify the cash (yet).
My 08 LS has the all black rails and I like them better than the chrome. You can buy them online too.
