sooo...i looked around the block and every single car got keyed on both sides of the car . He went from block to block...6th, 7th and 8 ave before the cops let loose their dog and he got mauled. APPARENTLY HE had came all the way from out in the suburbs to find fresh new grounds and keyed easily over a hundred. Today i read in the paper this was his 3 rd time caught. He got released and was on probation on FEB2008 AND keyed 300-400 cars in the suburbs and a few hundred here in the city. You know, i dont want the guy beheaded or sodomized ( a life is more important than an object) but 5 years jail time and if the courts were to somehow collect from him the few hundred thousand dollars of insurance deductibles we all are having to fork out, that be great. Reality is this : this idiot will maybe get a few months in jail and more probation....we will pay our deductibles and the junkies/thieves/vandals will just keep doing what they do best. OH well...at lest today a beautiful warm sunny day.....im going to go sit in the sun before somebody here decides to go spray graffiti on it.

 

Some Canadian friends I have are always telling me how crime free Canada is, and how the prisons are not overcrowded. Now I know why they are not crowded...they don't put anyone in them.

 

This is just disrespect of people and property. It is ashame someone would actually want to do this.Fortunately i live sort of in the country and have a garage. When i go to pittsburgh i always park in the parking garages. I think his punishment should be that whatever job he has they take out a portion of his pay every week or month until all restitution is paid; plus community service like painting over grafitti.

 

lordairgtar...ummmm...bahahaha! these canadian friends live in small towns where if somebody ran a stop sign it would make front page news of their local newspaper. I myself live in Canada's 3rd largest city of roughly 2.2 million people in the metro. IT's a very beautiful city with the most expensive real estate in the country (and up there with nyc & L.A.). In the last 5 years this is whats been going on: number 1 bank robbery capital in the country, was the top car theft in north america, we have a huge homeless population, over 22 unsolved gang land slayings since last year, an ongoing trial for a guy accused of the serial murders of possibly 50 prostitutes , a large section of ghetto full of junkies and thieves . One day fairly soon, you will be bombarded with television , newspaper , magazine and radio telling you to ''COME VISIT VANCOUVER CANADA FOR THE 2010 WINTER OLYMPICS!!!'' maybe see happy canadians smiling and saying ''hows it going EHHHHH'' AND EVEN FUN loving friendly polar bears humping a penguin or something while waving a canadian flag...... then shortly after you will also see some in depth reports from 60Minutes, 20/20, CNN etc...mentioning the bad with the good. Then we see how ''crime free'' it is. No country is crime free.
