Bristol Run Roll-call

Ok folks, me and mine are heading out of St. Louis Friday around 4:30 PM and headed to Bristol.

We're gonna spend the night somewhere around Lexington and then drive the rest of the way Saturday morning.

Time permitting we're gonna do three runs.....well me twice and the wife once!

Anyone along the way who's going or just wants to meet give me a call. PM or email me for my cell phone number. (Got US Cellular so it doesn't cost to get calls.)

Hope to meet a few of you along the way!

Gonna be a busy summer.....Oklahoma in July, Illinois in August, a local show in Sept. and Oct.......life is good!!!

Would a 1:00 meeting time at Bristol be good for those going in the afternoon?

We could do our laps together and get pics of us all going around the track!

What part of KY are you in?

We'll be staying just north of Lexington and then driving down Saturday morning.

maybe we could hook up for the drive.

I would prefer a bit later(doesn't have to be MUCH later) if in any way possible, as I am driving 5.5-6 hours from Richmond, VA and traffic can be dicey. Also I dont know if anyone from my region is coming(i.e. Central VA, Tidewater, NoVA, Wash/Balt) but if anyone is coming from NoVA its going to take them at least 8-9 hours. Just FYI.

What times good for you?

From what I've been told by one of the men in the sponsoring group they will be taking all who are in line at 4:00 so that's no problem.

We'll be doing about a 4 1/2 hiour drive that morning so I know what you mean!

Do you know of a good place to meet, we've never been there?

Well, disregard what I said above about later being better. I just realized the event is over at 4pm, so I guess earlier IS better. I am planning of leaving Richmond around Midnight tonight , so I'll be there early. Looks like good weather. Anybody have any idea how many laps we are going to shoot for, so I can bring an appropriate amount of cash?
