We're having breakfast at Bob Evans at exit 87 on I-75 at 8:30 tommorow morning. Meeting DYLANSHHR there.

I'm staying at the Econo Lodge at the same exit.

We'll drive down from there. Figure we should pull into Bristol around 1:00.

If anyone else is thinking of going PM or email me.

Mike

Main board says yeshua posted today and 8:28 and I'm seeing no post, so I'm just adding one to see if it shows up...and after doing that I am seeing it now. Sorry for disrupting the post. You guys have fun and take lots of pics cuz Deb's a big NASCAR fan.

Well, that didn't work. I had a pic to show you of me driving around Bristol. Just look in my pic section for it.

Thanks dude. I got to learn how to do that. Notice how tight my hands were gripping the steering wheel? I was doing about 70 there.

Right on Man...I am so jealous. Deb aka the NASCAR Freak is so happy for you. I need more info...how much fun was it? How fast did you go? How big of a rush was it? I want to hear all about it.

Had to sign our lifes away before they let us go into the track. The usual waivers promising not to sue. We line up behind the pace car and are told to strap in tight. Pace car goes about 85 and if we keep up with him, he will go a little faster. I DIDN'T. But, I didn't get lapped. Bishol1p was there with his black HHR and we ran together. He pretty much kept up with the pace car (but he's a lot younger than me). I got up to about 72 and looked up and saw the turn coming at me. When you come out of the turn, the centrifical force pushes you toward the wall on the straight. It was a blast. My wife almost had to have a barf bag. She went with me for 5 laps and then I went 5 alone while she took pics. Was it fun???? I told her it was the most fun I have had since my honeymoon. Maybe that's why she didn't go with me the second time. We got to hang around the infield all the time we wanted. I have weekend plans, so we left around noon. I'm anxious to see what the other guys thought of it. They told me they will raise about 6-8 thousand dollars for St Judes. Pretty nice event.
