They will only void the warranty on the springs if they are not OEM. Not the entire vehicle. Any damage that occurs due to non OEM components is not a warrantable repair.

They are OEM springs, He had put clamps on them to lower it.I tried to post a pic but was not allowed. I guess like on some other forums, you need to have so many posts before you can put pics up.

Definatly.....dont know if I can go through chevy to fix it later though (under warrenty)......i doubt it. I may have to let it go.

If I can repair it without much cost I can keep it. The funneral took alot out of us. He was very young, so it was unexpected.

Thanks Billy. Yeah......My late son in law was a Houston Fire fighter. He was killed in a motorcycle accident on 9-02-09 in Humble, TX.. Don't know if he lost control or got clipped. Once down, someone ran over him accross his chest..........they never stopped.

That really is lousy of someone to do that & just keep going.. Wonder if they have a conscience or not ? Probably not.

Always tough losing a family member, especially a younger one.

Being a Fire Fighter is not for everyone..He must have been a special Son-n-law for sure..
