So whatever happend to this "upgrade"?

I guess those of us with a real panel SS need to call it an SS-SS since it is faster, stops quicker, and handles better than your proposed 1st edition panel SS?

Just curious...

Ouch that was a nasty blow, I disagree on the braking part and handeling If our "non " SS HHR's are lowered with a roll bar, and bigger wheels, I think they do just as well if not better at handling than an SS. With the braking i would only say that if they have the Brembos.

Wow.... first time I read this post. I feel like I was just told that the Holy Grail came from a JC Wittney catalog. Good luck on building the horse power to SS Stage 1 levels. I hope you can do it without incident. I mean while I will rest easy with my warranties and the fact that I spent less overall while having peace of mind.

Seriously, posting this in the SS section and saying your gonna do it just as good is insulting... if you don't have results!! Meaning track times, great appealing appearance to all, stop times, and reliability.

I build Jeeps. If I got on the Rubicon owners forum and said that I was building my version of a Rubicon model, I better have results to show for my words. Still, they would have their warranties, yet I have my satisfaction of a good build. So good luck on your build, but I would have never post it like you have.

Thanks for the update. How does it feel compared to the stock setup? Any times at the strip/track? I like how you made all the parts the same color....looks nice.

You forgot about the Camaro SS's unique wheels and rear spoiler...
