UPDATE (6/5/06, 3:57pm EST):

Well, mom and I and the dealership have been doing some "wheeling and dealing", and the dealership is going to order a Black 1LT Manual Transmission, and should have it for me tomorrow evening!

UPDATE (6/7/06, 01:09pm EST):

Well the good news is that I got my brand new HHR today(well technically Tuesday), and it is an all black 1LT, with 5 speed manual. And overall I did pretty good, test driving it, and I managed not to throw Steve(my sales rep) through the front windsheld! I can drive stick, but it has been a couple months since I have been at our fire dept in WV to be able to drive stick

I will take pics tomorrow, and put them on photobucket, but it is too dark to really get good photos tonight. As for those who are going to Bristol, if all goes as planned I will see you there as well.

--SIDE NOTE: lol, for being kinda rough on the HHR, I still seem to be getting 25-26 MPG city, heehee! So I somewhat contest GMs claim of only averaging 22, and folks, I am NOT trying to conserve fuel in any way shape or form, I prefer to shift around 3500 RPM, so hey who knows?

Great news, Bisho1p! Glad you got what you wanted, and that no salespeople were injured during the transaction! Looking forward to seeing some pics!

Congrats on picking up your 1LT with MT.....GREAT choice. So, did you get the 2.4? I had to order mine to get it with the MT. Like you I'm getting 26 - 28 MPG with mostly in town driving lately. I get 30+ on the open road.
