GM ALSO supplies a plain white and a charcoal impregnated filter for the HHR's. Guess which one is commonly used.....hint.....the cheaper one is plain white.
The original OEM that came with the car, when new, was charcoal type but I replaced it with the Fram "top of the line" because I found them on clearance and bought the only 2. It supposedly is baking soda treated to provide a fresher smell. It also is rigidly constructed as compared to the OEM.
